The town of Warminster extends its sympathies to 3rd Battalion, The Yorkshire Regiment
It is with great sadness that the town of Warminster has learnt of the death of Private Gregg Stone, of 3rd Battalion The Yorkshire Regiment, who had recently deployed to Afghanistan for a tour of duty. “This is a tragic piece of news, and he died in an especially heroic situation” said the Mayor, Councillor Rob Fryer.
We cannot express enough the sorrow we feel for the loss of his life and our condolences go out to his wife, Samantha, his parents Robert and Angela, his brothers Kallum, Jamie and Graeme, and sisters Rosie and Jennie. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of his family and friends.
