Noah’s Ark Nursery Princecroft Primary School
Members of Warminster Town Council voted unanimously in favour of a planning application for the removal of the existing nursery and playgroups modular building, on the site of Princecroft CP School, to be replaced with a brand new modular building. Phil Gillingham from the group spoke at the meeting of the struggle the nursery had faced since 2005 to get the financing and now the planning in place, but he was hopeful that the future looked positive with all of the necessary detail nearing completion. The new facility would be fully accessible and still cater for preschool education in the age range 2–4 years.
Councillor Veronica Burden said “Princecroft were in desperate need of a decent building and environment for the Nursery” and she proposed that the Council fully support the plans. She hoped that once the application reached Wiltshire Council’s planning authority support for the proposals would be given.
